Jake SilbermannATWT video clip update: Frenching step-grandpappy
Major developments today on As the World Turns. Noah finds a sloppy drunk Luke lurking about town and takes him back to the farm to keep him out of trouble. In between his inebriated lurchings, Luke is all "Stay with me Noah!" and "You can't walk out on me!" Noah swipes Luke's keys and beats a hasty retreat. Meanwhile, Brian Wheatley and Lucinda arrange a hasty wedding at her hospital bedside, with Lily and Holden witnessing the blessed event. Right after the ceremony, Wheatley heads home to grab some various and sundries for his blushing (though still hospitalized) bride. Along the way, he sees a stumbling Luke by the side of the road. He picks his new step-grandson up and takes him back to the farm to sober him up. Then, in what has to be one of the most oddly interesting moments on ATWT in recent memory — he kisses him! This is one episode you don't want to miss — check out the Nuke video after the break! Submitted by on Wed, 2008-11-19 16:51. ATWT video clip update: Luke sure is a mean drunk
In yesterday's gin-soaked episode of As the World Turns, Lucinda went in for her mastectomy, and when Luke has an awkward run-in with Noah at the hospital he uses the it as an excuse to go on yet another bender. When Allison and Casey find him at a bar and try to stop him from drinking, he lashes out, calling Casey a "screw up" and Allison a "porn queen!" Ouch. Just how low is the boy going to sink, and are you like me and sort of digging this edgier "Mr Hyde"-ish side of Luke? Check out yesterday's Nuke clips after-the break. And hey, maybe we can make a drinking game out of it. Raise your glass every time Luke says something catty. Submitted by on Wed, 2008-11-19 08:49. Liveblogging "As The World Turns" Luke S: Portrait of a Teenage Relapser
I know that you're probably thinking "where the hell is Brian?" Well, the details are sketchy, but from what I gather he was called away for an emergency flea dip for a couple of Were-Cats (I think they could probably do with some neutering too ... but that's not for me to decide). Anyway, I'll be covering the liveblog today, which should be interesting considering I really only pay attention during the Nuke scenes ... and the shirtless Butters scenes ... and the shirtless AustinFromDays scenes. Oh, and the QuakerOatsLady and Lucinda scenes (because they're fabulous). Join us after break for the latest developments ... rumor has it that Noah learns that Luke has been hitting the bottle again. Will he reach him before Luke gets sloshed? Let's hope not! Today on As the World Turns, Holden & Lily a have a sit down with Luke and try to get him to accept some personal responsibility for his recent ill-behavior. Luke heads to see Noah to apologize and patch things up, but Noah isn't quite ready to play nice. Despondent, Luke grabs a draft beer from a passing frat boy. Uh oh, this looks like trouble! Check out all the melodrama in today's Nuke video clips after the break. Submitted by on Thu, 2008-11-13 16:12. ATWT video clip update: Nobody likes a tattletale
On yesterday's As the World Turns, Noah's high-minded decision to rat out Luke to the Oakdale University dean had some major repercussions. Not the least of which, both Casey and Luke are permanently expelled. Casey confronts Noah about his decision to be a tattletale and reminds him that Luke was perfectly happy to lie for him during that entire sham marriage to Ameera. (Glad someone on the show pointed that out.) Luke has to tell Momma Lily about the ballot stuffing, and his expulsion from school. She is devasted. When Noah shows his face, the boys have it out in an ugly confrontation. Will they be able to patch things up? Find out more in the latest Nuke video clips after the break, and be sure to join us at 2PM EST today for our liveblog of what happens next! Submitted by on Thu, 2008-11-13 09:26. ATWT video clip update: Luke's fall from grace
Today on As the World Turns, Luke and Casey's conspiracy to commit voter fraud goes off the rails when Kevin goes to the college dean and demands a recount. Luke gets summoned to the dean's office, but the dean offers to put the matter to rest if Luke and Noah will only give him their word of honor that the election was on the up and up. Luke doubles down on his fall from grace and assures the dean he ran an honorable campaign, but it's anyone's guess what Noah will do when he gets called to the carpet. Will he rat Luke out? Will Luke come clean himself? See how it all plays out in today's Nuke video clip after the break! Submitted by on Tue, 2008-11-11 16:53. ATWT video clip update: What's a little vote tampering among friends?
Luke's hopes for winning Oakdale U.'s student council president election fair and square are quashed when his popular opponent (and arch-nemesis) Kevin starts distributing pony kegs in exchange for votes. Luke refuses to accept defeat, however, and when his hapless campaign manager Casey suggests ballot stuffing Luke leaps at the suggestion. Noah is appalled and tries to talk him out of it. Will the noble young Mayer succeed? Or will Luke stoop so low as to actually steal an election? Find out in today's Nuke video clips after the break! Submitted by on Tue, 2008-11-04 16:32. ATWT video clip update: Butters in the hot seat.
On today's As the World Turns, Casey (a.k.a Butters) gets the third degree from his Mom - who also happens to be Oakdale's Chief of Police. He's in violation of his parole for coming to Allison's rescue when she was abducted by a bunch of frat boy hooligans. (Ladies, haven't we all been there?) His only hope is if the head hooligan, Mark, doesn't press charges, but then Mark shows up at the police station ready to file a complaint. Meanwhile, Luke runs into his former friend and now sworn enemy Kevin at Java. The two try to make amends, but Luke can't believe it when Kevin asks him to drop out of the race for student council president. Will Casey be going back to jail? Will Allison be abducted by more hooligans? Will Luke drop out of the race? And where the hell was Noah today? Find out the answers to some of these questions in the day's Nuke video clips (there are 3!) after the break. Submitted by on Thu, 2008-10-30 17:07. ATWT video clip update: The Masked Man of Fairy U.
On yesterday's As the World Turns, Luke & Noah prepare for a halloween costume party (Luke is a pirate - and Noah is something with a kerchief and overalls.... Howdy Doody maybe?) But their overall good holiday cheer is marred when Luke's campaign co-managers Casey and Allison reluctantly show them a "dirty tricks" political video that someone has posted on "USTube." The video shows Luke in a tutu and vowing to be the "President of Fairy U". (Weirdly, the video uses Luke's actual voice, and I don't recall him ever saying those words.)
Luke is furious and confronts his opponent Kevin about this. Kevin tries to explain that it wasn't him who posted the video, but rather, his Karl Rove-ian campaign manager. But Luke is having none of it and vows revenge. Later, Allison gets into a car with a masked man - mistakenly thinking it is Casey. Turns out someone merely stole Casey's Halloween costume. Now what do they want with Allison? Find out more in yesterday's video clips (there are three!) after the break. Submitted by on Wed, 2008-10-29 08:21. ATWT video clip update: Where is Karl Rove when you need him?
Yesterday on As the World Turns, Luke & Noah met up at the coffee shop along with Casey (a.k.a. "Butters") and Allison. When Kevin and his frat boy campaign crew comes in, Luke breaks the news that he'll be running against him in the student council election. Kevin doesn't seem all that concerned by the competition. If Luke is to have any chance of winning he'll need a savvy campaign manager. All eyes turn to token straight boy, Butters. Will he agree to run Luke's campaign? Later, Allison goes undercover to attend Kevin's big campaign rally. Kevin's dastardly campaign manager Mark is whipping the crowd into a homphobic frenzy. Allison leaves in disgust, but how will Kevin react? Find out the answers to these pressing questions in the latest Nuke video clips (there are two) after the break!
