TwitterWatch: Stephen Fry’s Tweeted Tiff, Christian Siriano Glams Up For Halloween and More!

Welcome to another week of TwitterWatch! We’re jumping right into our first ever Twitter controversy! And it’s all because someone called Stephen Fry … boring? Let’s take a look:

So it all started when this bloke, JimJamming, sent out a little tweet:

Well Jimmy’s friend, Brumplum, one-upped him and tweeted the following:

Well, you don’t just get called boring on Twitter and let it fly … you get snarky!

And, well, it kind of gets a little complicated from here. Apparently Stephen Fry’s 934,000 followers went berserk and tweeted Mr. Brumplum his comeuppance. I’d go into details, but I’m not about to have 934,000 tweeters attack me, so you might want to head over to the New York Times and get the whole story.

Okay, so now the rest of the tweets may not have caused quite as much of an international uproar, but I’m sure you’ll find them interesting anyway. And if you don’t, well, try not to call them boring. That is, unless you want my tens of followers (minus the spambots) to hunt you down and verbally abuse you in 140 characters or less!

Well no shock here, but Christian Siriano made sure no would ever be able to call his Halloween costume boring. In fact, he was tweeting about it all week:
