Mark's coming out momentMark came out to his mother on tonights episode and it didn't go well. I'm sure a lot of people will say the same thing at the thought o his mom not knowingon the show "Is she blind?" But they did a good job setting the stage for the situation, parents see what they want to see.
I thought it was a great moment. Too bad the actor playing Mark is a total coward about talking about his own sexuality. Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 2007-03-22 22:34. |

Last night started with a bang! When Betty walked into that bus stop ... LOL! ROTFL! And the scene with Alexis doing the photoshoot ontop of the desk was a riot, too!! The Mr.Roper reference was a nice touch, too.
Although I was really happy with the episode as a whole, I'm almost disappointed that Marc relationship with his mother seems to "wrapped up" already. Marc was really crushed when his mom walked out, and to simply "get over it" like he did at the end of the show seemed a bit too easy. But I guess that's what has to happen with supporting characters, eh? It would be nice to see this situation revisited at some point later in the show, though. Like a follow-up where Marc shows his mother that he's living happily on his own or something. I guess it just ended soo quickly that I feel the need to see more.
Mattie: You are soo right about parents seeing what they want to. It's a testament of how families often "revert" to their given roles when brought together. Ex: Parents sometimes find it hard to think of their children as adults, etc.
I just bet
I think Michael is right
I think although Marc gained
