Charlie & Marcus (possible spoilers)

Ok, I haven't watched this season of Survivor at all aside from several clips of Marcus and Charlie but I must admit these guys are adorable together.

Those of you who follow the show closely already know what happens to them but I just saw this video of them together at the Ponderosa shortly after Charlie was voted off. Their cuteness factor is off the scale...especially when they're spending far too much time deciding how they should look and what they should wear for their first tribal council together on the jury. :D

Question for regular Survivor watchers: are they wearing those hooded cloaks to camouflage themselves from possible onlookers?

Charlie and Marcus - Adorable at the Ponderosa (Offical Clips)

Someone posted these from CBS's website, the are much longer than the Youtube clips.

They have all the details from when Charlie and Marcus each left the survivors to the go to the Ponderosa (including Charlie and Marcus seeing each other the night that Charlie was voted off) til they go back to Jury together

Marcus and Charlie are pretty adorable in these two clips as they continue their "bromance" even after being voted off.

Simply amazing

I have never met anyone in my life as comfortable with being around a gay guy as Marcus... it really just boggles my mind. The way Survivor presented the bromance, even *I* would have been a little hesitant to be around Charlie if I were Marcus... he is too cool for school!

These guys make me smile

Thanks for the links. Great video clips. These guys have such amazing chemistry together. And that bit where they hooked their arms together while eating something was definitely a bit gay. Don't newlyweds usually do that with champagne at their receptions? I burst out laughing when I saw that.

I hope CBS seriously consider them for a spot on the next Amazing Race. They really light up the screen together.

Spontaneous or not?

Yes, the arm-linking was absurd -- probably the only time in the recorded history of mankind that that has ever occured. Makes you wonder if there isn't a just a wee bit of prodding from the production staff.

Got a chuckle out of Charlie's statement that they had spent hours poring over their clothes trying to find the right "look" for the next tribal council. After a month of accumulating a crust of their own sweat and filth, I think I'd just be thrilled with a shower and a shave with real hot water and soap.

Probably not spontaneous...

...but still funny and cute as heck. Shows both Charlie and Marcus don't take themselves too seriously. Obviously at this point in the show's taping, they wouldn't know that a lot of fans would become quite enamored with their relationship. Perhaps the production staff noticed their obvious fondness for each other and decided it would make for good tv to push the bromance angle.

Yeah, I laughed at the "hours" comment too, and also at Charlie's "is there any ketchup" query after the lengthy description of the gourmet food they were getting at the Ponderosa.

CHARMED by CHARM

I don't know if the arms entertwined thing was staged but the hug when they first saw each other again right after jury seemed really genuine so I'm guessing they really have become good friends who care about each other and it was probably loads of fun to play dress up for each other and have tons of clean clothes to choose from and think about how to psych everyone else out when they got back to jury.

I'm a mush so it was all just good for me.

Thanks darcolover55! CHARM is too charming for words

Before watching last night's episode, I watched them with a friend of mine and they were 1,000 times better than any of the Ponderosa stuff of yesteryear and actually what passes an entertainment, esp. is this dreadful season with uninspired shows.

The guys have more chemistry that any of the forced pairings on TV or silly dating shows. I am not suggesting that there is anything more between than the amazing excitement that you experience when you meet someone who you really like and likes you right back because of the natural dance that takes place when there are commonalities.

Even as gay men, I think some of us were surprised to see that Marcus may be EVEN more into Charlie than what we saw on the show. In the back of my mind there was that element of most players using every tool at their disposal to win, but seeing these two post-game says it all. So many OMG sappy moments that were magical. The first post-game hug (Marcus check out how Marcus hold Charlie) and hearing Marcus verbalize that he thought that Charlie would be the guy to beat on the show. The funny faces Marcus makes to the camera after Charlie kicks his butt running and when Marcus is the one to grab the mirror so that they can check themselves out. There is an equality here that goes beyond "tolerance" and that can be an example to so many of us who have preconceived notions of how people will react to us and vice versa.

Let's write CBS to get these guys on The Amazing Race. Unbeatable. Guillermo's Media Guillotine: Entertainment, journalism, politics, and popular culture.

Onlookers? Huh?

Question for regular Survivor watchers: are they wearing those hooded cloaks to camouflage themselves from possible onlookers?

They're not in Hollywood -- can't imagine who they'd be hiding from. I don't think the natives of Gabon much care.

From reading some of the Survivor forums/recaps, the ousted contestants claim it's quite cold there at night. The hoodies are likely for warmth.

Charlie was asked by an interviewer about a "relationship" with Clay Aiken prior to appearing on Survivor. He admitted knowing him, but refused to talk about his personal life. First I've heard of that!

I have no words to describe

I have no words to describe how cute those two are. Charcus are too cute for words. <333

I really didn't believe for a second that Marcus was just using Charlie and stringing him along for a vote. Marcus is a super-nice guy and he's one of those people I would really like to have as my friend! Also, their hug after they finally meet each other outside of the game really shows the genuineness.

Btw, I found 2 more Ponderosa clips where Charcus are joined by Randy at the Jury House. Notice of Marcus grabs Charlie's hand while they are both hugging Randy. :D
