NaNoWriMoToday begins National Novel Writing Month, an all-out, wild ride frenzy to write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days during the month of November. Not only does NaNoWriMo provide a creative and fast-paced way to jump into the writing scene, it's a wonderful way to meet other people and try something new. This is the third time I'm paticipating, and it's always been a wild and crazy, memorable experience. And in light of the recent poll of the fifty best gay books, I thought it'd fitting to post a link and perhaps inspire some of us to begin writing the next wave of the world's fifty best gay books. My novel last year and my novel this year both feature gay characters among the main cast, and I for one know it'd be awesome if I'm not the only AfterElton-er to one day make the list here because of NaNoWriMo. So why not give it a shot, or at least a passing glance? Submitted by Amansviri (69 points) (10 posts) on Sat, 2008-11-01 18:08. |

Thanks!
Thank you for posting that link. I have seen NaNoWriMo mentioned and talked about on a lot of other sites and even between some people I know, but I never actually asked what it was exactly. But now I know, and am interested.
Thanks again.
