Kevin's not a homophobe anymore, just your average college joe. But Kevin's campaign manager is a homophobe and does some dirty politics behind Kevin's back. Luke, assuming Kevin is behind it, plays dirty himself. Unfortunately, Noah isn't down with that. He doesn't like being political or so public about his life. Noah also feels that Luke is doing this because of Kevin and that concerns him. Of course it takes a toll on Luke and Noah's relationship. While election day on the show is the same day as in the real world, the story is going to continue to play out for the next few months.   Luke's behavior is going to prove to be self destructive, something that is in Luke's history, and the repercussions will not only affect his story, but spill into other stories as well.  The crux of the tale is about Luke maturing into adulthood and all the difficult decisions that come with it.
