George Michael arrested for drug possession and guess where it happened?

Another public bathroom. Just say no! Obviously George is only one of hundreds of celebrity addicts, but it sucks that he gets caught up in these things as it's all about me and I assume that this may limit his availability to on Eli Stone and/or put out new product. Can't he get it together for me..... I am joking, but these stories get so tired after they start approaching double digits. The Reuters story was not any more or less sensationalistic than it would have been had it been a straight celebrity, so kudos to the media.

Why George!?

I love George, I really do. I thought his appearances on Eli Stone were wonderful, and I've always been praying for a strong comeback. But come on, George!! If you can't stop, can't you at least get better at hiding what you're doing?

Yeah, right? Michael better work this out now.

Hopefully he can clean himself-up so that he can sneak a few scenes in the show. If the whole bathroom set-up works for him, why not build one in his back yard and role play or something. I am just saying'.... Any more bathroom/drug play and Eli Stone fans may get stuck with more Katie Holmes appearances or God forbid that Eli starts to have visions of Clay Aiken rather than G.M?

DAMN IT!!!

Why can't he learn?  I've always loved George but this shit gives us a bad name.  I'm far from perfect.  In my younger days I've been indiscreet in public places but I've learned and thank God I never got nabbed by a homophobic cop who might have turned the other way if it was a straight couple.  Get it together baby! I still support you.

less Scandaless all

I wonder if someday George Michael and Boy George will be credited with taking the gay out of Gay Scandal? I mean, just because of the sheer volume they produce it becomes less extraordinary.

Good point Nukely.....

Unlike other gay "scandals" these two have become part of all almost post-gay category on their own that seems to be less about giving gay a bad name, than just another day in the life of those in the "creative arts." Yesterday it was David Duchovni and a little too much alleged Internet porn or some celibritard getting stopped by the LA cops.

The dawning of a new era in trash?.....

Georgie, Georgie, Georgie...

I've loved George's music since the early Wham! days... and I'll admit I had a huge crush on him back then, too.  I still love his music.

But is it just me, or is it obvious to anyone else that he's in a self-destruct mode and has been for a while?  No... Seriously.  Look back over his interviews since the whole Beverly Hills bathroom fiasco, and he'll say at least once in most all of them that he's been trying to derail his career and/or his personal life for years, on purpose.  Sounds to me like someone screaming for some kind of help.  If I remember correctly, I think I heard him say in one interview that his self-destructiveness goes back to at least the time his one partner passed away.

I honestly think this is more than just "another scandal", and I sincerely hope he can find whatever he needs and pull it together.

~Peace~

Unfortunately, it may be just another scandal as ......

there are few of us who don't have some personal demon of sorts and I think that the self-destructiveness that he's referred to is on the money with any of our respective vices (which hopefully are much more tame and legal) that we might know exista and decide to either attack it/them or let it/them rule our lives. While it's so cheesy to talk about rock bottom, hopefully he'll hit his soon, get some help, and get to have the type of life that he seems to want to have. And of course make killer dance music. The latter reflects only my selfishness as I am more into his bubble gum dance music than the more inspective that I get the feeling (based on interviews) he thinks is more "mature."

I think that he's very talented and appreciate his candor, esp. now, but he would be wise to follow his lyrics about waking up before he go-go's.... Maybe it's as easy as not going to public restrooms period ;-)

I agree Gulliermo...I never

I agree Gulliermo...I never wish for someone to hit rock bottom, but the guy is extremely talented, and if that's what it takes to save him from himself...well, so be it.

Arrest or not, I still welcome him on Eli Stone! He got many laughs out of me last season...no Katie Holmes, haha.
