Call Waiting is the best show ever on Sordid Lives
Del Shores was a genius for writing that show. Of course, the concept of a caller getting caught in the middle of things is not a new one. It was done a lot on old-time radio shows. Especially on Lucille Ball's show My Favorite Husband in which Liz was at the mercy of her party-line co-owner, who was a Brooklyn blabbermouth. Kudos to everyone involved in this fascinating, funny show. Do watch it again on New Year's Eve before you get drunk and/or stoned and eventually catching a STD.
