Anyway,I do appreciate that Mr. Jack Stehlin and the other actor(can`t find his name)really went for it.THE KISS was hot!!!!Oh my.

I'm digging really hard into my memory here, but I vaguely recall the writer-producer saying that initially, she envisioned having a much stronger gay subplot involving a rich older man and the gay teenager he was involved with, who shared a hot tub nuzzle in the first or second episode.  So their secret life was going to be another example of the show's exposing the hidden hypocricies of suburban life.   The teen, however, was the same kid who was cast as the son in "The War of the Worlds," and he immediately became unavailable for long stretches, so they dropped that storyline and instead made Nancy's partner Sanjay gay in the 2nd season.  And if I'm not mistaken, it's been made pretty clear that Celia's daughter--though only 13 or so--is a nascent baby dyke. 

wow,thank you so much for that information.I was always wondering why the gay story line in pilot suddenly disappear,now it all makes sense.I`m not very surprised that Jenji Kohan,the creator of the show is gay-friendly though,since she is the sister of one of Will & Grace`s creator David Kohan.And she also wrote one of my favourite episode on W&G: "Fagel Attraction"

Isabelle is obviously meant to be a lesbian,I think the writer made that pretty clear.But I`m not very satisfied with the Sanjay character and his story line.I also believe this Capt. Roy Till & his co-worker boyfriend thing is not gonna come up again in the series,since it doesn`t really got much to do with the rest of story.But still,I appreciate Ms. Kohan wrote this.
