i really have to LOL at this forum...
am not laughing at you gaytvlover!!.... i just was amused because i, too noticed everytime i read AE's blog i ALWAYS see that the readers are way ahead of the site... every episode's discussion seem to center on THE NEXT episode... so i'm so happy that you started this forum cause even us non-german speaking folks watch Ivan's clip even before nana puts her magic fingers to work... and immediately post comments on the OLD episode! now that's DEVOTION to the BEST GAY LOVE STORY EVER!!!!!
well... i already made my comment on how affected i am with this beautiful episode so i'm going to write WHAT I DON'T LIKE about this episode... and it's just one - WHY THE HELL DID OLLI STOP CHRISTIAN FROM CHASING GREGOR IN THE BUFF!!!! why why why!!!! that's the very first time i am soooo disappointed at Olli!!
on a serious note - well.. not too serious... i really really love the soundtrack of VL... though i know some explained that even though they made the episode months before, they only put music on it only days before the actual airing... CHASING CARS is so beautiful!! (although again, like sia's breathe me, it was also featured in another prime time american show - grey's anatomy)
i was thinking of starting a thread on a list for every music featued in this beautiful show... i can only think of these ff. songs but i know that there are so many more beautiful songs featured but i don't know the title:

Sia's Breathe Me and other VL music
This is probably the most famous use of Sia's Breath Me...the final scene of Six Feet Under. Seriously...I can cry just imagining it. It's powerful. >Click<

The music on Forbidden Love. It's pointed out that the parent site of the show lists all the music used in an episode in case you ever need to know what a song is.

oh! i forgot to mention - CHRISTIAN SAID "I LOVE OLLI"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yey!!!!! although he didn't say it to Olli's face but nonetheless - he still expressed it in words!!! god how i love these two boys....
i think (IMHO) that Christian cannot say "I LOVE YOU" back to Olli (in last week's epsiode) is because he constantly said I love you to Coco while he was confused and was actually attracted to Olli... although i know that he really loved coco... it's just that i think he is more cautious now in saying those magic three words until he is definitely sure of it... and them having been together for just a few months would be understandable... which may be a reason for us to look forward to (him saying it to olli) in the near future (i hope)... but for now... the only future i am hoping to see is the (SPOILER ALERT) swimsuit episode!! god i am so shallow! but it's thor and jo and andreas' fault! - they are too damn hot!
Christian and "I Love You"
I wasn't put off at all about Christian's "Right back at ya" to Olli after Olli told Christian that he loved him. The reason being...this is the same episode where Christian told him that it drives him crazy that he can't tell the world about their relationship...that he would dance with him in the center of No Limits. That to me is just as powerful as I Love You. Plus...Chrisian's actons have shown that he cares.
But I did love that he told Gregor he loves Olli. I even caught it when I watched the German version earlier.

VL...the little things and I love yous
To me the sign of a good show...soap or otherwise...is when you miss the holes and little bad things because the rest of the show is so good. I did notice that Christian didn't say "I love you" back to Olli...but I didn't notice that he has never said it. I think it's because he shows it so many times in one episode. I mean...to me he's showing his love by entertaining the idea that he'd give up his "dream" of being a boxer if Olli wasn't happy. He showed it in No Limits when they had their "Not another word or I'll cry like half the gays watching this scene are crying" moment.
Sure...we could focus on the fact that the boxing storyline is paper thin in believability, or the overheard conversations, or many of the other little things...but the quality of the writing and the acting draw your attention away from that stuff.
However...after reading more and more posts about it I look forward to the day when Christian finally says it first. Maybe it'll be a big deal...like a declaration of his love while he kisses Olli in public. Maybe it'll be a small private affair...one on one in their apartment.
All I know is he sure shows it everyday.
