Cheyenne Jackson and Michael Feinstein hit the studio

Back in June, Cheyenne Jackson and Michael Feinstein teamed up for a hugely popular cabaret act called The Power of Two (the duo act taking its name from an Indigo Girls tune, one of songs they performed together). Reviews were glowing, one saying it was revolutionary and an implicit political statement that a couple of out gay stars of their magnitude would for example sing "We Kiss in a Shadow" from The King & I as a finale.

The pair reunited in the studio last Friday to record an album version of The Power of Two. In addition to "We Kiss in a Shadow," other tracks will include "So In Love," "Don't Pass Me By," "Old Devil Moon" and other classic standards.

No word yet on when the CD will actually be released, but this one is going to be a must have for a lot of music fans.

So in love

Bring it on, will you need my credit card number to pre-book it? And, dudes, I am in Los Angeles, we could use a breath of your fresh air in this stifiling heat.

That's all I am saying...
