Sing-Along "Rock Me, Sexy Jesus" from upcoming comedy "Hamlet 2"

I don't know what more I need to say about this other than that the reaction shot of Elizabeth Shue pretty much makes it for me.

Can't Wait

This movie looks so funny. It might have it's campy moments, but I can't wait to see it.

I've seen it and it's a complete delight

A send-up of "inspirational teacher" movies ( ie. Dead Poet's Society, Mr. Holland's Opus ) it's surprisingly knowing and sharp about the politics of public education. The schools are simply there as huge baby-sitting facilities and they couldn't give a shit about the kids. Steve Coogan plays a would-be actor with a nowhere career who becomes the world's worst high school drama teacher until the kids decided to take his wackiest idea seriously. Plenty of gay stuff all the way through as director and co-scripter Andrew Fleming (Dick Threesome) is openly gay.

Best Song Oscar

Hey, if that "Pimp" song can win ...

Favorite line: "But the dude's got lats that make me feel gay".

And David, I think you forgot the comma between Dave and Threesome ... Dave Threesome would be a whole other kind of movie!

Laughing My Ass Off!

I can't wait to see this movie. I've liked Elizabeth Shue ever since  Adventures In Babysitting, and Steve Coogan's kinda cute in a nerdish way. Also, Andrew Fleming was behind Gross Point, one of the funniest shows nobody ever watched (except maybe me).

I'd also be delighted to see this song get an Oscar nomination for "Best Song". Hey, back in the '70's, a song from The Omen, "Ave Satani"(which I think means "Hail Satan") got nominated. It's only fair to give JC equal time.*

*No, not JC Chasez. I've often wondered-if "Ave Satani" had won (it lost to "Evergreen" from A Star Is Born) who would the composers have thanked in their acceptance speech?
