I CAN HAS NPH AND DAVIDS BABY?!

Come ON, with all the advances in medicine can't the guys in the white coats (no, not the ones that escort me from my desk to the bathroom and back twice a day, the other ones) make it scientifically possible for me to be surrogate to the rumored potential offspring of Alpha Gays Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka?!

According to Star:

After going through a rigorous screening process, “Neil and David were so relieved and excited once they were approved,” says the source. “Now they have so many surrogate profiles to go through to find the right woman to carry their child.”

True, the unconfirmed news is coming from Star, so at this point the potential child in question is a few glossy photos away from being Bat Boy. More than anything I'm just surprised that NPH and David have to resort to anything so pedestrian as run-of-the-mill conception and gestation to have a child. Everyone knows that even when their eyes meet across the produce section of Whole Foods, basketsful of milk-scented kittens rain from the sky onto meadows of untouched wildflower!

But in all serious, if this is real news, it's great for the guys (and that Star is OMGing over it like any other baby news). And if it is true, then there is only one woman capable of handling the task of delivering this multi-talented offspring ... and that woman is Liza Minnelli.
