He's Just Not That Into Gay Panic: The film's guys tackle 10 chick-flick cliches
This one's been popular today here at the AfterElton.com mothership: Justin Long, Kevin Connolly and Bradley Cooper are promoting their romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You to guys by promising that the movie doesn't play to cliches. How best to do this? Re-enact the ten worst chick-flick cliches with an all-guy cast, which leads to some very cute and very funny bromantic moments that don't tip into gay-baiting or "no homo" in the slightest. Enjoy the clip! Like you need my encouragement ... Submitted by on Tue, 2009-02-03 16:04. |

Not Only Was It Fabulous and Gay Panic Free
It totally made me want to see the movie and completely appreicate Justin Long even more (who knew that was possible).
Also, Kevin and Bradly looked all kinds of cute in the bed redding newspapers. I'd love to see some of that on Brothers and Sisters. (Just saying...)
LMAO. DO DO DO DO, DIDGERI WHAT?!
"Heterosexuality is not normal, it's just common." (Dorothy Parker)
haha
i just kept nodding my head and saying "YES!" when i saw each cliche. i normally don't think about it, but when they put it out there like that in a list, it's like "wow, they really ARE all like that!"
:-P
Dangerous territory...
.. but those guys are hilarious, insightful, and pretty damn cute. Actually, I can't believe how much I enjoyed that! I might just have to check out "He's Just Not That Into You" if it's going to avoid all 10 of those cliches.
Question
The Topper
A different Kinda chick Flick
Now, I can't die until I see the full-on Mel Brooks (style) parody of Chick Flicks starring these three
And it better be cheesy and make me cry.
You couldn't pay me to see
I found out it was
I found out it was available as a podcast and went onto iTunes Store to download it. Strangely enough, the studio decided to encode it in 1707 kbps (for video), making it unplayable on iPods and iPhones, despite it being distributed through iTunes as a podcast.
For shame!
