Battle of the Network Gays for May 29
Every Friday we pick the gays in television who have had the best week and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week and enjoy their own fancy button over on the left. We'll announce the winner on Monday (Tuesday, in this case), and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following Friday to try to steal his title. Last week you voted American Idol finalist Adam Lambert into his record-breaking seventh term in the throne, and he will now be retired to the VIP lounge where he will enjoy free shrimp cocktail and soft drinks until the end of the year, when he will be up for the prestigious Gay of the Year crown. That leaves us with four new challengers! Check them out, and vote for your favorite! This week's contenders:
Vote for your favorite by 8 AM EDT on Monday, June 1. And be sure to check back next week to see which gay our readers have carried to glory! Submitted by on Fri, 2009-05-29 11:38. |

wow this is hard
George Takei - CHAMPION
Because he's an elder, he is uncompromising but completely accessible and because he's an icon and everytime he talks about his being gay or his marriage to his husband it makes me feel so proud.
Now is a time when gays of all stripes should be rallying around each other and supporting those who have the courage to stand tall and speak up for themselves (and us).
Nothing against the other guys but George is just THE MAN on this list this week.
"Heterosexuality is not normal, it's just common." (Dorothy Parker)
Jake Nodar
He can also give a straight
