A: Wait. Are you telling me that you didn’t go see Hannah Montana: The Movie?! The actor in the video that Kanye West so famously doesn't think is as good as Beyonce's is Lucas Till, an up-and-coming actor who also played Miley’s down-home love interest in the Hannah movie. He also played the older brother of Johnny Cash in the movie Walk the Line.

Which reminds me: just how fun is it to see famous actors in early, embarrassing roles? Some of my favorites include George Clooney on The Facts of Life, Jessica Lange in King Kong, Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun, Michelle Pfeiffer in Grease 2, and Tim Robbins in Howard the Duck.

Still, nothing tops seeing the new Captain Kirk Chris Pine play Lord Nicholas Devereaux in The Princess Diaries 2.

And you there: the reader who’s about to post a comment saying that Grease 2 isn’t “embarrassing” – that it’s an unfairly maligned masterpiece? Um, how about we agree to disagree? (Though I might agree with you that it's better than Grease, which, apart from the songs, I confess I don't get at all.)
